As part of the rainbow crop over at Scrapbooker's Club House this week, I learned how to make two very cool altered items. It's not too late to join in the fun as the challenges are all due Saturday night.
The first one is an altered binder clip that you can use a photo stand (put the photo between the two silver parts). The clips are available in the office supply section (or from you desk drawer at work LOL!!) The only recommendation I have is to pick papers that have black in them OR paint the clip before you start. I did a winter theme on mine. You could also use it as a magnet for the fridge by adding some magnetic strip on the back.
The second project was to create a small altered file folder pocket album that is made out of one regular office file folder. The folding directions and link to the original project can be found here at Taylored Expressions. I used some really thin Christmas papers that worked really well. Thicker papers may make folding difficult.
