A Saturday Evening Post Sneak Peek

There are THREE new Saturday Evening Post stamps being released on Tuesday October 28th at Cornish Heritage Farms.

This is one of the stamps, called “Bird Watching”. It is absolutely perfect for masculine cards and as you can see from my sneak peek it lends itself really well to brayering.

This card was made using only cardstock and stamping. I brayered the sky background onto glossy paper and stamped the image over top in black ink. For the card base, I used Ranger Distress Inks and applied them with a stipple brush. Then I stamped with a Scrapblock in black ink. A very simple card for that man in your life.

Supplies:
Stamps: Saturday Evening Post Bird Watching by Cornish Heritage Farms, Fine Houndstooth Scrapblock by Cornish Heritage Farms, Mona Lisa Moments Classic Essential Expressions by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink: Versafine Black (heat set on brayered sky), Ranger Distressing Ink Dried Marigold, Tsukineko Kaleidacolor Pad - Cappuccino Delight
Cardstock: Prism (card base), Ranger glossy cardstocker (brayered sky), Bazzill black
Tools: Ink brayer, Stipple brushes, Nestabilities die
Accessories: Offray ribbon
