With the holiday season fast approaching I've fallen a bit behind on my blogging so here's a two in one post.
Here are two cards I created for the So Sketchy blog. The first card sketch can be found on the December 7th post and the second card sketch can be found on the December 8th post.
The first card has a hidden message under the flap on the front. On this card I used some Basic Grey papers and made my flap a bracket shape. The background was Cuttlebugged and distressed to allow the white core to show through.
The second card is a round card. Round cards are a lot of fun and once you figure out the mechanics they are very easy to make. I essentially create the circular part of the card and mount in onto a square card base. Then trim the card base on the front only (the part where you adhered the circle) so that the card base doesn't show. For this card I used some Provocraft Christmas papers and Kim Hughes Heart Warmers stamp set from Cornish Heritage Farms
