Wonder is Best When Shared

There is a wonderful new Rummage Bin collage stamp being released at Cornish Heritage Farms next week (Tuesday January 20th) and it won't disappoint! Stay tuned for some samples with the new stamp.

In the mean time I'd like to show you two cards I did with the last Rummage Bin release which is currently available in the store. The stamp is called "Wonder is Best When Shared". There are several designer samples in the CHF gallery.

On the first card I stamped in Espresso ink onto water colour paper and then took a water brush and went over the stamped image (I think this is my newest fav. technique LOL!). Even though it's hard to tell from the photo you get a nice soft image that looks like a watercolour painting. I used Basic Grey paper for my background and hand cut some of the flowers out of the paper as embellishments.

For the second card, I used the same water pen technique and then tinted the image with Pebbles Inc. chalks. Using chalks is a great way for the inexperienced colourer to tint images. All you have to do is apply the chalk with a pom pom or sponge for a nice soft look. Papers are also from Basic Grey.
