Welcome Winter

Well today is the first official day of winter and what more appropriate way to celebrate than with a Welcome Winter card.

This card can be found in the current issue of Scrapbook and Cards magazine. If you're not familiar with this fabulous publication, it is available FREE of charge in many scrapbook stores across Canada and the US. You can also download a copy of the entire issue on their website.

Also stop by and check out their blog this week as they are giving away lots of cool prizes to celebrate the 12 days of Christmas.

Now back to the card. I used Kim Hughes' Winter Trees set from Cornish Heritage Farms and papers are Cosmo Cricket. All of the instructions to make this card can be found in the magazine.

Foto Friday

Last month we took our daughter for some newborn photos and I'd love to share a few of them with you today (since it's slim pickings in the craft department LOL!). I can't wait to scrap these photos when we receive the final prints!!

The photos were taken by the talented Julie Johnson. It was hard to pick which photos to choose since they are all so amazing!! We are beyond thrilled with these once in a lifetime memories captured on film.
Thanks for letting me share!!

Welcome Christmas time

Today I'd like to share a vintage themed Christmas card I did a while ago (I'm running out of old projects to share LOL!) using the ATC set called Evergreen Holiday from Cornish Heritage Farms. As you can see, not only can you make ATC cards but the images can also be used on regular cards. I love the versatility of these sets!

For this card I stamped the image and tinted it with Copic markers. Very simple and quick since I let the inked image stand on it's own.

Stamps: All Things Considered Evergreen Holiday by Cornish Heritage Farms
Papers:Georgia Pacific cardstock (for image), Cosmo Cricket papers
Ink:Adirondack Espresso, Adirondack Pesto
Accessories:Button, K and Co. snowflake embellishment, Copic markers (for tinting image)Fiskars border punch

P.S. I'm getting ready to start crafting again and can't wait to get back to sharing my projects more regularly with you in the new year. I have a big new batch of rubber coming my way so there will be lots to share soon!!
