Hoppy Easter (2S4Y # 23)

Wow, I've been a total slacker in the blogging department these days! But don't worry I have lots of projects coming up to share, I just can't do it quite yet. I promise there WILL be more than one post this week.

Here's an Easter card I did based on this week's 2 Sketches for You (#23). I used papers from Making Memories and the stamps are Kim Hughes' Sweet Spring set from Cornish Heritage Farms. Please note the colours are marginally off in this photo (thank goodness spring is almost here so I can get good pictures again!!). The peachy is actually more of a pink shade.

You're Fintastic! (2S4Y #22)

I had time to play along with this week's 2 Sketches for You (number 22). I cracked open my new set of Kim Hughes Ocean Friends stamps and came up with this card.

The papers are all from the new Cosmo Cricket "Snorkel" line.

Gnome sweet gnome

One of Kim Hughes' latest releases from Cornish Heritage Farms is Forest Friendz and boy oh boy is it CUTE! In addition to the stamps used on this card there are lots of mushroom stamps and a cute cute cute little hedgehog. A great set and great value as usual.

I have another idea up my sleeve for this gnome stamp so check back later and I'll share that one. Oh and be sure to stop by and see lots of other samples in the CHF gallery.

Something a bit funkier

Cornish Heritage Farms is releasing a FABULOUS new "Distressed Circles" scrapblock today. I love how versatile this stamp is. It's perfect for those more "funky and "edgy" looks that are popular right now but can also look really soft and vintage depending on what papers and ink you use. I can't wait to take this baby for a test drive on a layout (and YES I know it's been a LONG time since I've posted one----or even done one for that matter *sigh*).

Be sure to stop by the CHF gallery to look at all the wonderful creations the design team has done with this stamp.

Here's a card I made that would be perfect for a little boy (I think my nephew will be getting this card for his birthday!!) or even for that 'tween. I pulled out an old kit for this card and used Rouge de Garance papers and some Magic Mesh (remember that stuff???). I also added lots of staples to add to the funky look. The little creature and sentiment is from the Kim Hughes Little Guy set.

Never to early to think Mother's Day

Cornish Heritage Farms is releasing a new set of sentiments today with a Mother theme. Scroll down for a closer look. There are so many wonderful sentiments on this set that can be used not just for Mother's Day but everyday use as well.

Here's a card I did using the set. I used papers and die cut journalling box from K and Co's Que Sera Sera collection. The butterflies are from the Saturday Evening Post Vintage Butterflies set.

A bit late but here's my Mojo Monday #76

Here's my interpretation of Mojo Monday sketch #76.

I decided to go with a St. Patrick's Day theme and used up some old Rusty Pickle Lucky papers that were in my scrap pile. Please forgive my blah photo but that's what happens when you get creative after dark LOL!

I combined the bear from the Kim Hughes Bear Hugs set (Cornish Heritage Farms) with the sentiment and shamrock from the Kim Hughes Sweet Spring Set.
