We make quite the pear

Cornish Heritage Farms has recently released another wonderful All Things Considered (ATC) set called "Can It". This kitchen/canning themed set can be used for both ATC cards as well as regular cards or other paper crafting projects.

For this card I used the pear image and sentiment to create a pear themed card. I used Cosmo Cricket papers, Copic markers to colour the image and finally added some Bazzill pom pom trim.

You can see other creations the design team did with this set in the ATC gallery.

Christmas Peace

It's very hard to see the shiny detail, but the background is glimmer misted and has a wonderful turquoise sheen.

I used a Tim Holtz mask on water colour paper and then sprayed with homemade glimmer mist over top. Then when dried, I stamped over top with the Scrapblock Aged Sheetmusic stamp in brown ink. The image and sentiment were stamped onto coordinating patterned paper (from K and Co.) and matted onto the card front.

Supplies:
Paper: Watercolour paper, K and Co. patterned paper, Bazzill cardstock
Ink: Versafine Sepia, Adironack Espresso, Distress Ink reinkers (to make glimmer mist)Accessories: Tim Holtz mask

Sneak-y Peek-y time!

Guess what's coming up next Tuesday at Cornish Heritage Farms (Sept 8th)? Kim Hughes stamp release day! The release is the last in the set of four "tree" sets. Next Tuesday you can add "Winter Trees" to your sets of spring, summer and fall trees.

This set has some super cute winter themed images. For this card I used the skeleton tree and the little snowman.

First I brayered a 4 x 4 peice of glossy cardstock using Tsukineko Kaleidacolor ink (Blue Breeze) and left a bit of white space at the bottom. I cut a peice of white paper for the snow and glued it at the bottom. I stamped the tree with Versafine ink and heat set directly on the card. The snowman was paper peiced and added to the card. To finish the card off, I coloured the scarf with a Copic marker, added lots of clear stickles for shimmer and mounted onto a premade DCWV glitter card base.
