A few more Valentine's.....

Here are two more Valentine's Day cards that I created using some stamps from Hero Arts and some scraps of the new Kelly Panacci K and Company papers that you've seen in other posts.

For these two cards I opted to combine the papers with some kraft paper and add some embossing with a new heart themed embossing folder set from Sizzix (purchased at Michaels). 

On this first card (measures approx. 5" x 5") I embossed the background pink paper and sanded off the surface to reveal the white core and then also embossed the kraft paper with the same embossing folder.  I added a few rub ons to the embossed kraft to add a small pop of colour.


On this second card (standard A2 - 5 1/2" x 4 1/4") I embossed the kraft paper with the hearts folder and the sentiment block.  I sanded some of the paper off the sentiment to reveal the white core and then added a die cut under my stamped image.

Other than the sewing on the first card, both cards were created in about 10 minutes each including colouring of the images!!
