Time for the October Your Next Stamp release hop!

Hello and welcome to the October Your Next Stamp New Release Blog Hop! We have tons of adorable new images to show you including some stamps from TWO new artists-woohoo!  We are so excited to welcome Cory Designs and Mabel Designs to the YNS family. We are all just LOVING the new images, and we know you will too.  We also have some new stamps from artist Heather Rolin and two awesome new dies.
Of course we have some amazing prizes up for grabs.  Just leave comments on all of the DT blogs for you chance to win one of THREE new release prize packs.  You have until Sunday, October 14th at midnight (EST) to comment. Karen will post the winners on the YNS Blog on October 15th.
And now onto my projects....first up is this sweet gingerbread creation.  To create the background for the card I stamped the gingerbread man image and heat embossed in clear WOW! Embossing Powder before applying two shades of brown Distress Ink over the surface.  I also used the sentiment and round image from the new Celebrate the Season set for this card.

Supplies:
Stamps:  Celebrate the Season set from Your Next Stamp

Ink: Ranger Distress Inks:  Gathered Twigs, Vintage Photo, Hero Arts Java, Fancy Pants, American Crafts
Papers: Georgia Pacific cardstock, Bazzill cardstock
Accessories: Offray ribbon, wood button, Spellbinders die, white ruffle ribbon, WOW! Embossing clear powder, Copic Markers, large gingerbread die (Sizzix---I think it's retired now)

Next up is a Happy Holidays card in some more non-traditional colours.  I used the new Christmas Bauble Robin on this card and did some paper piecing and colouring with my Copics.  I used several pearl accents on the card and the background blue paper has some shimmer to it.

Supplies:
Stamps: Christmas Bauble Robin from Your Next Stamp
Papers: American Crafts, Neenah cardstock
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Offray ribbon, Prima pearls, Copic Markers, Making Memories tag
All of the new stamps and dies are available NOW in the YNS Store PLUS Karen is offering a new release special – 15% off your order using code YNSOCTNR!
Now it’s time to hop on over to Jenny P's amazing blog, but don’t forget to leave me a comment before you go so you can be in the running for a new release prize pack! Happy Hopping!

Both cards are great. I love the vintage feel of the ginger bread man and the red gingham ribbon is great touch. The bird on the ornament is too cute. Love the whole look.
