Happy Thanksgiving on Your Next Stamp Friday

Hello and Happy Friday!  Today I have another fall themed card to share with you for YNS Fun Friday.  Hop on over to the YNS blog for more great projects from the design team.

For my card I used my favourite jam jar and filled it with some leaves and a pumpkin from the Autumn jar fillers set.  If you look closely at the edge of the jar, you can see that I covered the whole jar with Glossy Accents after I finished my stamping.  It takes a while to dry so make sure you complete your jar and let it dry overnight before adhering it to your card.  I added a little autumn fairy and some burlap twine to finish off my card.

One Wicked Sweet Halloween card on YNS Fun Friday

Good morning! Time for another Your Next Stamp Fun Friday!  This month we are sharing fall and Halloween projects.  Your Next Stamp has a ton of amazing stamps for the season, you can check them all out here.  And don't forget to stop by the YNS blog today to see all the other great design team creations.

For my card today I used the "Wicked Sweet" stamp to create a Halloween card.  How cute is she with her purple hair and that skull balloon?  I created a few different layers on my card with some die cuts and then added the image to the left side with some dimensional tape.

This month we are also sharing organizational tips for our stamps and dies.  Well, those of you that know me in real life know that the word "organized" and Jen do not go in the same sentence LOL!  But I do like to keep my stamps organized using EZ Mount stamp and store sheets and then I put them in a binder on my shelf (photo to follow --- I forgot to upload it to my blog last night---sorry!)

WOW! Halloween is on it's way

Hello!  It's time for my team post over on the WOW! Embossing Powder blog.

I created a Halloween themed card using the WOW! Brocade stamp and some black embossing powder.  Then I layered lots of die cuts and some trick or treat ribbon to complete the look. 

And here's a close-up of the embossing.  As you can see it adds nice shine and texture to the design.

Today I'm sharing a bookmark I made using the new bookmark stamp and die set and pairing it up with Ellie Loves to Read from last month's release.  The new nesting bookmark dies are wonderful!  I cut the large one out of kraft paper and stamped all over it in kraft coloured ink to create my background.  I added Ellie to my bookmark by cutting her out and mounting her onto a scalloped die.  I added a triple bow out of baker's twine.  The twine lies flat enough that you could still close the pages on your book.

Howdy friends! Time for Your Next Stamp Sneak Peeks

Howdy friends!  It's that time of month....time to start showing off some of this month's new release stamps from Your Next Stamps.  This month's release is SO awesome, I *had* to get almost all of the stamps for my collection hee hee.

Today I'm sharing a card I made using Nathan the cute cowboy.  As soon as I saw him I knew I'd be pulling out my beloved Cosmo Cricket Wanted paper.  If I had a time machine I would go back in time and hoard PILES of this stuff.  I was so glad when they bought out some 6 x 6 pads a while ago and I was able to grab a few.

I used a round scalloped card base for my design and added a few different papers.  I created my own sentiment out of letter stickers and added a wood button accent.

As you can see from this close up I cut the lasso out of the image and added some real twine by gluing under the hand:
