Post release party!

Hello again! I think I've set a record the past few days with the number of blog posts.  It's nice to be sharing so much again.

Today is the April post release party for this month's Your Next Stamp release.  Pop on over to the YNS blog to see links to more creations from the Design Team.  And don't forget you still have time to hop along for this month's release for your change to win some fabulous prizes.  Scroll down to my post below for details.

For my project today I did a vintage-y inspired card with the new Brittany stamp.  I actually made her polka dot dress and shows using my white gel pen.  It's a great way to add patterns without having to paper piece.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Stamps: Brittany (clear) from Your Next Stamp
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black
Papers:  Neenah cardstock, misc. scraps
Accessories:  Baker's twine, Copic markers, white gel pen, Prima pearl, doily, Viva Decor pearl paint pen

Be Happy! It's Your Next Stamp Release Day!

Hello and welcome to the April Your Next Stamp New Release Blog Hop!  We have some ADORABLE new stamps and some really fun new dies for you this month so hop along with us and check them out!

The hop begins on Maureen's blog and if you've been hopping then you should have arrived from Bonnie's blog.  If you get lost along the way or just happened to pop into my blog there is a linky list at the bottom of the post.

You have through Tuesday, April 29th to leave comments on all of the DT blogs for your chance to win a $20 YNS Gift Certificate!

For my project today, I have used the ever so cute yet sophisticated Annabelle (clear stamp).  Last week I picked up some new 6 x 6" paper pads and I really wanted to use these fun and bright papers.  I coloured my image by matching up the colours in the background floral paper.  I think this image would also be super awesome with black and white and make it Parisian style (I'll have to add that to my "to do" list!!)

Supplies:
Stamps:Annabelle (Clear stamp) from Your Next Stamp
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Papers: My Mind's Eye, Neenah cardstock

Accessories:  Offray Ribbon, Copic Markers, Stickles

It's a Beautiful Day at Purple Onion Designs!!

As promised, today there is a new Stacey Yacula “Beautiful Day” release over at Purple Onion Designs!  This new collection won’t disappoint!!!  There are lots of new critter stamps and a whole bunch of background and accessory stamps.  The best part is that they perfectly coordinate with all of Stacey’s other releases.

For my card today, I used the new banner stamp as my backdrop and paired it with two of the new cute critters and the large Blueberry the bear (middle) from the last collection. I just cannot get enough of these guys!  I used some outdoorsy type papers and added some baker's twine to the top of the banner for some interest.

Be sure to come by again soon for more of the projects I made with this new collection and of course there are lots of other projects on the POD blog and the other Design Team’s blogs (you can find links to every one's blogs on the POD blog.

Cheers and hope to see you soon!

Time for the Your Next Stamp monthly inspiration post! (PRIZES!!)

Good morning!  It's time for the YNS Monthly inspiration post.  Pop on over to the YNS blog to see this month's creations from the Design Team and leave a comment before midnight tonight for your chance to win a YNS Stamp set of your choice.

For my creation this month, I used the Noteworthy set to create this yummy cupcake themed creation. What I love about this cupcake stamp is that you can punch it out perfectly with a 2" circle punch.  Makes for a perfect addition to any card.  I stamped the sentiment several times down my fishtail to add something extra to the plain paper I selected.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:
Stamps: Noteworthy (clear) set from Your Next Stamp
Ink: Palette Noir, Memento Tuxedo Black
Papers:  Basic Grey, Gina K kraft cardstock
Accessories:  Cuttlebug embossing folder, The Twinery Twine, Offray Ribbon, white pencil crayon (Kohinoor), Copic Markers

Hippity Hoppity Easter's on it's way!

Hi friends!  I recently sat down and made a bunch of Spring/Easter cards and figured I better share them before the end of the week!!

First up is a card I created using this cute Easter egg image.  I coloured with spring tones and then added some white gel pen accents.  The kraft background was embossed and then I lightly went over it with white pigment ink to get the embossed surface to stand out.

Supplies:
Stamps: Stephanie Ackerman Cracked Egg Bouquet stamp from Purple Onion Designs, Cracked Egg Bunny set (sentiment) from Purple Onion Designs
Papers: WRMK, Neenah white cardstock
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, white pigment ink
Accessories: Offray ribbon, Copic Markers, white gel pen, doily, Darice embossing folder

Up next is a simple card I created using the Easter Noteblock stamp.  I heat embossed the image in white opaque powder and then embellished with a die cut bunny and egg that my Mom cut out for me on her Cricut machine:

Supplies:
Stamps:  Easter Noteblock from Purple Onion Designs
Papers:  WRMK, Bazzill cardstock
Ink:  Versamark (for embossing)
Accessories:  WOW! White embossing powder, Cricut Die cut bunny and egg, doily, The Twinery Twine, Spellbinder's Die
